We are excited to report that the 2024 harvest season has been a success! Our Chef de Caves, Dominique Demarville, gives us his thoughts on this pivotal moment.    " It was a tricky wine-growing season due to heavy rain between April and mid - August, as well as cool conditions during the flowering period. To reach the right level of ripeness, we preferred to wait to harvest the highest quality Chardonnays. As a result, the Meunier and Pinot Noir grapes will be very ripe, but the high acidity levels this year will result in beautifully fresh wines. The recent weather conditions have been ideal for picking and ripening the grapes. The sugar/acidity balance seems perfect, and tasting has shown good levels of phenolic and a fruity maturity. The quality of the 2024 harvest could be similar to those in 2016 and 2012, which was very good.
