[Breaking] LUCID Vision Labs, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial cameras, today announced the launch of the new Triton2 EVS event-based 2.5GigE camera, featuring the IMX636 and IMX637 event-based vision sensors, realized in collaboration between Prophesee and Sony.  “Event-based vision opens up new industrial applications by significantly improving performance, lowering power consumption, and providing a more flexible solution for machine vision applications such as motion analysis, vibration monitoring, object tracking, optical flow, autonomous driving, and high-speed detection,” says Rod Barman, Founder and President of LUCID Vision Labs.   The Triton2’s Factory Tough™ design offers IP67 protection, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and provides protection against shock, vibration, water, dust, and electromagnetic interference.
