⬛𝗕𝗢𝗚𝗜𝗙𝗟𝗘𝗫 𝗕𝗙𝗧𝟭𝟬⬛ ▶️ We're delighted to share one of our latest achievement at CMD Gears : floating and self-aligning twin pinions split torque BOGIFLEX BFT10 with worm gears at primary and input gearboxes. This BOGIFLEX BFT10 drive is specifically dedicated to drive a 300 tons liquid metal torpedo ladle car in steel industry.  ✅The Bogiflex concept, invented by CMD more than 60 years ago, remains up to date thanks to continuous technical development. In this case the BOGIFLEX BFT10 is used for a heavy loaded machine for which the torque is very high, and the rotation speed is very low. This requires a very high ratio achieved with a reduced number of gears stages, and it brings an efficient solution in a very small area and constrained environment.  The main wheel does not need any bearing so that compactness is very efficient and maintenance requirement is very light. ⬛𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗨𝗥𝗕𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦⬛   ▶️We are proud to share with you our latest refurbishment job on a CMD Bogiflex gearbox. ▶️The gearbox was received in a disassembled, oxidised and deteriorated condition, missing several parts. ✅Thanks to the positive synergy between our two CMD production sites (Fourchambault and Cambrai), we were able to manufacture and replace the necessary parts in order to renew the gearbox capacity. The replaced parts include : ◾Bearings and seals ◾Output gear set ◾Worm gears ◾Input stage helical set ◾Central cover ◾Tie rods ◾Vertical bars ◾Balancing bar ◾Input gearbox torque arm ◾Shock absorber ◾Transport frame   ▶️The gear housings were shot-blasted and repainted for optimum protection. Assembly of the sub-assemblies, followed by adjustment and complete testing of the Bogiflex, was carried out with great care.   ✅Finally, the sub-assemblies were crated prior to shipment to ensure safe delivery in perfect working order.   🦾At CMD, we pride ourselves on our ability to provide expertise tailored to customer requirements!
