Yesterday, Eleanor Broadway from EPCC, one of the founding members of WHPC, led a powerful session titled "Re-Introducing WHPC: How We’re Driving Change and How You Can Help." This talk took us on a deep dive into WHPC's journey, starting from our origins and mission to how we’ve evolved over the years, and where we’re headed next. Eleanor highlighted our ongoing commitment to developing early career opportunities and amplifying our focus on diversity and inclusion for underrepresented groups in high-performance computing. She also previewed our exciting plans for SC24, where we'll not only celebrate our 20th international workshop but also host our first-ever chapters and affiliates meeting. These events will be key opportunities for collaboration, networking, and furthering our shared commitment to driving positive change in the HPC community.
