🚀 Exciting News: The BioFairNet Project Has Officially Kicked Off! 🌱🔄 On January 17, 2025, the BioFairNet project—short for "Bioeconomy and Circular Economy Fair Network"—was successfully launched with a kick-off meeting in Naples, Italy! Funded by Horizon Europe, this initiative will run until December 2028, with a mission to support high greenhouse gas (GHG)-emitting industries in transitioning towards sustainable, bio-circular economy models. 🌍 Why is this important? Industries like agriculture and mining are among the largest contributors to global GHG emissions. BioFairNet aims to transform these sectors by fostering innovation, collaboration, and sustainability through digital tools and cooperative networks. 🔎 What will BioFairNet do? ✅ Develop a Digital Platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration ✅ Create Transition Tools to help industries adopt sustainable practices ✅ Conduct Sectoral Analysis to identify solutions for a greener future ✅ Engage Stakeholders through co-creation, testing, and validation 🌍 Who’s behind BioFairNet?
