We could have let our new CFO co-write this post… but he’s off in the mountains for a few days. So, we’ll try to introduce him ourselves. With 12 years of experience in finance, energy, and innovation, he’s played a key role at Innovafeed (Next40), helping secure €300M in Series D funding. He’s also worked at the French Ministry of Economy and the European Commission, giving him deep expertise in EU-wide financial and regulatory matters, and a sharp eye for numbers. Now, he’s joining us to structure, optimize, and support Electra’s rapid international growth. With 70% of our 2030 target already secured and over €1 billion in infrastructure investments, his arrival marks a major step in strengthening our position as Europe’s leading ultra-fast charging network. 🇪🇺 We’re thrilled to welcome Clément Tiret to the team as our new Chief Financial Officer! Welcome aboard, Clément! 🧗⛰️

International Women's Day may have been last week, but the fight for equality continues beyond March 8. In the tech industry, women remain underrepresented, and each story of perseverance is important. 💜 Today, meet Cécile Lesgourgues, a woman who didn’t just change careers, she reinvented her own path. Moving from marketing to software engineering, she embraced her passion for logic and problem-solving, proving that it's never too late to pursue your true calling. At Electra, she’s not only coding, she’s mentoring, learning, and creating opportunities for others. All while balancing work, training, and family. Because women in tech aren’t just participants; they lead, innovate, and redefine the game. 1) What triggered your interest in tech? “I always had special interest in mathematics and logics. I was at a point in my professional life where the lack of technical skills I was using made things a bit pointless. Learning coding, algorithm, network architecture was very appealling !” 2) The thing you’re most proud of? “Having been able to smoothly change of career over eight years, by following two successive long training sessions, and while working and taking care of my three kids. And most of all, at the end, enjoy my job.” 3) What is your wildest career goal? “When I arrived at Electra, I had a strong experience on front end development, and my wildest career goal was a lot different than today. I’ve been offered the possibility to extend my skills to other parts of software engineering, while being a referer on my initial area of expertise. This is much more satisfying.” 4) If you could go back in time, is there anything you would do differently? “I sometimes think I could have embraced my actual career sooner. But who knows, things may have turned out different !” La French Tech

Electra spotted in a new country, can you guess which one? 🔍 It’s a hiker’s paradise. 🏔️ A place where you can enjoy melted cheese and crispy potato pancakes. A country where words are verryyyy loooong. A small country but highly symbolic for Europe, as it hosts many major European institutions. 🇪🇺 A key location for Electra’s network expansion in Europe, sitting at the crossroads of several major routes. With this new country, Electra is now present in nine European countries, with a total of 426 stations and 2520 charging points. ⚡ So, can you guess what this new country is? 😉 Louis-Charles Mosseray Viktor Van Eeckhoudt, Victor Talpe, François Boveroux, Bastien Legrand, Adrien Neyrinck, Andre Nassimos, Barbara Cnockaert, Barnabé ZIEGLER, Bart de Groot, Cedric S., Evrard Fierens, George van Wagenberg, Hans Bouwhuis, John-John Deleuze, Kitty Vanhoutte, Leon Van den Bosch, Van de Bosch Tuinmachines, Martin Chatelle, Paul Sourisse , Pieter-Jan Van Nuffel, Thom Defaix, Victor Alary, Arnaud Verwilghen

“We stick to the 2035 targets, which means that we stick to 2025 and 2030 targets.” - Apostolos Tzitzikostas. Trust and stability must be at the heart of public policies driven by the European Commission. The charging operator ecosystem depends on predictable criteria and the steady rollout of electric vehicles in Europe without which, the sustainability of investments cannot be guaranteed. To keep moving forward, we need a clear direction. Today, the early reopening of the 2025 CO₂ standards and the introduction of "flexibilities" send a concerning signal to charging operators and the entire e-mobility ecosystem. Why is it crucial to stay the course? A review was originally planned for 2026. Moving it up to 2025 risks slowing down an already well-established momentum. Billions have been invested in building a fast and reliable charging network. The result? More and more drivers are switching to electric, and the European automotive industry's competitiveness must be secured against international competition. That being said, there are also encouraging measures proposed : - A European legislative proposal to boost corporate fleets. - A European social leasing model to improve accessibility. - Increased support for charging infrastructure. We know it: Europe has everything it takes to succeed in its electric transition. 🌍 But only if we stay the course and send a clear message to investors and drivers. A strong automotive industry and a robust charging infrastructure go hand in hand. ChargeUp Europe Charge France Aurelien de Meaux Julien Belliato
