📢 New German ruling on Copyright & Drone Footage 🚁📸 The German Federal Court of Justice Bundesgerichtshof has settled a dispute between VG Bild-Kunst and Funke Mediengruppe, ruling that drone photos of copyrighted works in public spaces do not fall under the panorama exception and a commercial user therefore needs the authors’ consent. Drone shots don’t qualify for panorama exception because they don’t have the same perspective public sees at ground level. Read VG Bild-Kunst press release ➡️ https://bit.ly/3Ui4y72
