Our partners in action at #Larvi2024! 🦐🐟 As part of the Farmÿng project, we are proud to highlight the participation as gold sponsors of two of our key partners, ADM and Skretting, at the 8th Fish & Shellfish Larviculture Symposium (Larvi2024) in Ostend, Belgium. From September 9-12, industry leaders gathered to share cutting-edge innovations in aquaculture, and our partners were at the heart of it.   Skretting revealed a new product and presented key findings, including: - Poster presentations by their experts on larviculture. - A talk on the performance of commercial Vietnamese diets for shrimp nurseries. - Participation in the closing session of the event. As global demand for meat and fish continues to rise, traditional agriculture and fisheries may struggle to keep up. The innovative CBE JU-funded FARMŸNG project, led by Ÿnsect, offers a sustainable solution through industrial-scale insect farming. By breeding and processing mealworms, the project produces high-quality proteins and lipids for fish feed and pet food, with significantly lower environmental impact. Exciting News from Farmÿng Partner: Familia Torres!    We are thrilled to share that Familia Torres recently hosted the first demonstration of Monarch Tractor's electric and autonomous tractor at their Mas La Plana vineyard in Pacs del Penedès! 🚜🍇 Familia Torres' commitment to sustainability is inspiring. They plan to integrate electric tractors into their vineyards and neutralize emissions with self-generated green electricity.   This initiative is part of their ambitious Torres & Earth climate action plan, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions per bottle by 60% by 2030 and achieve net zero emissions by 2040. Familia Torres is a key partner in the Farmÿng project and will eventually use the frass produced at ŸnFarm, further contributing to their climate action plan. 📅 Farmÿng, as a gold partner, celebrates the successful conclusion of the Plant BioProTech & IOBC-IR 2024 Symposium in Castellón de la Plana, Spain! From June 17-20, leaders from the agricultural and biotechnology sectors converged to explore innovative solutions for sustainable farming.
