Depuis le 10 juin, une impressionnante charpente métallique de 23 mètres commence à s'élever, marquant l'arrivée prochaine d'un tout nouveau bâtiment. 🏗 👉 Ce futur espace accueillera les modules de propreté, où nous équiperons les générateurs de vapeur avant l’installation des faisceaux tubulaires. Aujourd’hui, nous avons inauguré le technopôle Hub&Go au Creusot, en présence de David Marti, Maire du Creusot, Jérôme DURAIN, Sénateur de Saône-et-Loire, Vincent Thomas, Président de l’Université de Bourgogne, David LOLO, économiste à la Fabrique de l'Industrie, Madame Marie-Guite Dufay, Présidente de la région BFC et Monsieur Yves SEGUY , Préfet de Saône-et-Loire.   Ce site incarne une véritable dynamique pour l’innovation, l’entrepreneuriat, et la formation dans la région. Je suis fier de constater que cet écosystème contribuera à renforcer l’attractivité de notre territoire, un territoire où Framatome est profondément enraciné depuis plus de 65 ans.    Le technopôle Hub&Go regroupe des espaces de coworking, un incubateur, ainsi que des infrastructures de recherche et de test dans des domaines tels que l’intelligence artificielle et l’impression 3D. 🏢     Framatome continue d’investir dans cette région et dans des projets porteurs, comme la digitalisation et la robotisation, deux domaines au cœur des recherches menées au technopôle.    L’innovation, tout comme la collaboration avec les acteurs locaux, est un moteur de développement pour répondre aux enjeux industriels de demain. Ces enjeux ont également été au cœur de nos échanges avec David Marti et d'autres intervenants lors de l'interview avec BSMART.   Je tiens à remercier tous les participants à cette inauguration, ainsi que l'équipe de BSmart pour cet échange.   Fier d'être Framatome.   #innovation #industrie

🌟 Thank You for Joining Us at TopFuel 2024 in Grenoble! 🌟   Framatome is thrilled to have participated to another successful edition of TopFuel, the first technical event dedicated to advancements in nuclear fuel technology. This year, held in the beautiful city of Grenoble, France, the event brought together more than 400 leading experts, innovators, and enthusiasts from around the globe to discuss the latest research, trends, and breakthroughs in our field.   From insightful keynote speeches to engaging panel discussions, TopFuel 2024 was a hub of knowledge exchange and networking. Our Framatome Fuel experts delved into critical topics such as fuel performance, safety enhancements, enhanced accident tolerant fuel, and design performance, all aimed at driving the future of nuclear energy.   Some of the key topics presented included: 👉 PROtect SiC – Brazing developments of SiC-based E-ATF fuel rods for LWR 👉Successful strategies to improve the FA straightness in PWR 👉Economic value of LEU+ and high burnup fuel for US Light Water Reactor applications 👉Development of VVER Fuel Engineering Services in Framatome 👉Beneficial effects of pressure and temperature history on fuel fine fragmentation in experimental LOCA transients And many more!   A heartfelt thank you to all the attendees and Framatome speakers, and to the European Nuclear Society for making this event a remarkable success.  Let’s continue to innovate and collaborate towards a brighter, more sustainable future!   We were also pleased to host a technical tour at our Romans-sur-Isère site for 25 people, organized by ENS together with Framatome. 🆕 Framatome signs MoU with ČEZ for the development of Framatome’s own-design VVER-1000 fuel We are delighted to announce this agreement with ČEZ relating to the development of a 100% European, Framatome own-design VVER-1000 fuel. This initiative contributes to strengthening energy security in Europe while reducing reliance on imports from outside of the European Union. 🌍💡   “We are pleased to take another step in the development of a Framatome own-design VVER-1000 fuel design, with a view to ensuring the safe, reliable and uninterrupted operation of the VVER nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic and beyond,” said Lionel Gaiffe, senior executive vice president, Fuel Business Unit at Framatome. “Framatome is the fuel supplier which can guarantee a 100% sovereign European technology, with a fully European design & product, and manufacturing facilities and a fuel component supply chain located and operated in the EU.”   "The first key step to strengthen the energy safety of the Czech Republic taken by ČEZ Group was ensuring fuel deliveries and increasing the number of fuel suppliers.
