Paris 2024 Games: there's been movement on Gerflor’s floors! 🏀🏐 As an official supporter of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Gerflor was at the heart of the action, supplying more than 33,000m2 of sports flooring for 8 sports disciplines and 40 different surfaces. Emotions, falls, victories, defeats: many actions took place on our floors, trampled by thousands of athletes who came to give their best. For a decisive smash, a shot at victory or a perfect pirouette, Gerflor floors have witnessed some memorable moments. Thank you to all the athletes who thrilled us throughout the Games. French heritage comes alive for a weekend ✨ On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Gerflor is highlighting its involvement in the project "Pimms médiation Portes de Provence". This project to renovate the Voyageur building, designed in 1854, represents a real transformation of a historic site into a dynamic and inclusive space while meeting today's needs. Thanks to a partnership between SNCF Gares & Connexions, the Conseil Régional Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and a number of players including Pimms médiation and Gerflor, this project places digital inclusion, social mediation and coworking at the heart of the station, in a space called "Le Traverse". Le Traverse stands for: 🔹A workspace open to everyone - from teleworkers, to solopreneurs, to tourists. 🔹An initiative that brings together history and modernity. 🔹A tribute to the trades of the partners: electricians, transporters, fountain workers, teleoperators and floor workers! As a key player in the restoration of architectural and historical monuments, Gerflor has adapted its solutions to preserve the authenticity of places while guaranteeing durability and performance. The integration of our materials in emblematic projects demonstrates our commitment to combining respect for heritage with modernity.
