#BatteryStorage: Qair establishes its European presence with first projects in Poland    Qair is making strides in the European energy storage market by securing two significant projects in Poland as part of the 2024 capacity auctions.    Located in Kowala and Radkowice, these projects boast:  🔋 200+ MW of power output and 800+ MWh of energy capacity  🏘️ Reliable energy supply for approximately 50,000 households    This achievement is part of Qair’s ambitious efforts to create a diversified and robust storage network across Europe, spanning ten countries, including Poland, Germany, France, Spain, the UK, Italy, Romania, Montenegro, Iceland, and Greece 🌍    With a portfolio of nearly 8 GW of power capacity—capable of delivering up to 20 GWh of energy—Qair is at the forefront of advancing grid stability and renewable integration across Europe.    By optimizing supply and demand, these projects enhance grid reliability while enabling Qair to provide tailored, highly adaptable energy solutions to its customers 🤝 #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition 

#Tunisia: Qair Awarded 300 MW for Two Solar Projects in Khobna and Gafsa    As part of the Tunisian Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Energy's tender for 500 MW of solar PV in phase one of an ambitious 1,700 MW renewable energy plan, Qair has been awarded two key projects:    Khobna (198 MWp)  Gafsa (100 MWp)    Key highlights of all the projects under this tender:    ⚡ 1,000 GWh of electricity generated annually  🛢️ 250,000 tonnes of natural gas saved each year (~$125M in value)  💡 $70M annual reduction in electricity costs  🌫️ 500,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions avoided annually    By driving these initiatives, Qair supports Tunisia’s bold commitment to achieving 30% renewable energy in electricity generation by 2030, while reinforcing its ambitions to expand across the African continent 🎯    With the aim of increasing its installed capacity from 65 MW to 500 MW by 2030, Qair is developing projects in Morocco, Burkina Faso, Chad, Mauritius and the Seychelles, steadily increasing its presence in Africa 🌍 

Qair signs #CfD with Romanian gas and electricity operator OPCOM 💡✍️    The Contract for Difference for the Cobadin wind power project was officially signed by Cristina Setran, Deputy Managing Director of SC OPCOM SA, and Charles Lhermitte, Chief Operations Officer of Qair Group and President of its Romanian subsidiary.    🤝 This agreement secures the sale of electricity from the 50 MW wind project and represents a key milestone for Qair’s first Romanian project, just a few weeks after the tariff was awarded.     🛠 Construction is scheduled to start in 10 months, and consultations with turbine manufacturers and other key suppliers will begin in a few weeks.    #renewableenergy #energytransition

#UK: Qair receives approval for over 140 MW worth of solar projects ☀️ Qair has secured planning permission for the Straws Hadley Solar Farm, a c. 50 MWp PV installation in Aylesbury. This is our third major UK solar project to be approved in 2024, alongside Lark Hill in Rochford and Washdyke Farm in Folkingham, bringing our total approved capacity this year to 140.9 MWp. 🔌 Grid connection applications have been submitted and approved 🗓️ Next step: Confirmation of a grid connection date to start the construction phase This milestone comes just four months after the onboarding of Qair UK - Qair Group, formerly known as Green Switch Capital, and highlights Qair’s expansion trajectory in the country. #solarenergy #renewableenergy #energytransition #Qair
