Last weekend, Managing Director of Classical:NEXT Fabienne Krause took part in a roundtable discussion at the Classical ME Summit in Timișoara, Romania, organised by the Scena Muzicala Association. Entitled "Building Opportunities for Musicians: The Impact of European Music Networks", the discussion explored the importance of European music networks in musicians' careers, challenges and opportunities for musicians in the European context, strategies for building sustainable careers in music and the impact of cultural policy and the advocacy role of networks in supporting musicians. For Classical:NEXT, it was an important opportunity to get to know and understand the classical and art music scene of the region and to build an even stronger relationship with Romania, ensuring a continued presence at the next edition in May 2025.
