Thématique principale de la conférence plénière 👉 notre culture de l’attention, que l’on découvre notamment à travers l’étude inédite réalisée avec Ipsos France qui permet de comprendre les regards des individus tout au long des parcours et de mesurer l’attention portée aux mobiliers urbains : 🕶 Nous avons demandé aux participants de se déplacer dans les rues de Strasbourg sur un parcours prédéfini de 30 minutes, en portant des lunettes d’eye-tracking et sans connaître la nature de l’étude. 💡 Le résultat ? 📍 Where do self-service bikes come from? Last week was European Mobility Week, offering an opportunity to reflect on the history of self-service bikes, pioneered by JCDecaux. 1️⃣ 2003: JCDecaux introduces a new service to address urban mobility needs in cities. Our first self-service bike system is launched in Vienna, Austria. 2️⃣ 2005: our founder Jean-Claude Decaux is present in Lyon, France, for the launch of the Vélo’v service. Today, Vélo’v serves over 90,000 annual subscribers! 3️⃣ 2007: Paris introduces its self-service bike system. With a total of 1,751 stations, each Vélib’ bike is taken from its station more than 6 times a day on average. By the time the service ended in 2017, Vélib’ had facilitated over 300 million trips! Pictured here is a “P’tit Vélib’” beside the standard model. 4️⃣ The success of self-service bikes soon spread to many countries, such as here in Ljubljana, Slovenia. 5️⃣ 2018: 4,000 new Vélo’v bikes are rolled out across Lyon. This ambitious operation, carried out in close collaboration with the city’s teams, presented a real industrial and logistical challenge: collecting the old Vélo’v bikes and replacing them with the new ones overnight without any service interruption. An operation completed in just 7 hours! 6️⃣ And we continue to innovate with new features, always improving the service. For example, the newly deployed vélôToulouse fleet includes 50% electric-assist bikes with on-board batteries that can be recharged at stations. Success is here, with twice the numbers of the usual usage on the first weekend! 7️⃣ In 2025, Vélo'v will celebrate its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, we will introduce a new generation of electric-assist Vélo'v bikes, designed to make travel in Lyon and its surroundings even more convenient. 👉 In 2024, Vélo’v set a record with 1.5 million rentals during the July-August period. While they are now part of JCDecaux's history, our self-service bikes are adapted to cities’ challenges and the issues of our time. Driven by functionality and sharing, they provide citizens with a sustainable, accessible alternative to traditional modes of transport, contributing to the future of urban mobility.

The bus shelter advertising contract covers both digital and analogue advertising on over 1,500 bus shelters throughout Stockholm County with a majority in Stockholm City. The subway contract covers advertising at the 14 largest and busiest subway stations and commuter train stations in Stockholm inner city. The new contract will include spectacular large format digital cross track screens.
