Interesting preliminary analysis made by EFRAG on a limited number of EU companies … It confirm critical trends on #ESG reporting and #CSRD : A #Datacentric process should be in place , Understanding in the detail of the #Materiality impact is central for strategic decision, #Valuechain management with tools and process to go through an auditable data collection and assessment will provide high value , Efficient internal #collaboration across functions ( #finance , #IT , #purchasing , #HR , #RSE, #Excom… ) will secure #ESRS requirments . Below please find 4 Fundamental statments from EFRAG preliminary deployment analysis : 1-Most undertakings consider that #DoubleMateriality Assessment should be based on #data and evidence in addition to the views of internal experts and stakeholders. 2-While IG 3 is considered helpful and supports #gapanalysis, only a minority of the undertakings understand how to assess Information Materiality at a datapoint level. 3-#Valuechain analysis remains one of the most challenging and least mature areas for the undertakings in their ESRS implementation. 4-The undertakings are increasingly implementing cross-functional #collaboration models to meet the ESRS requirements more effectively.
