𝗞𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗶𝗦 was honoured to participate in the 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗺 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 breakout session at the 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗔𝗙-𝗖𝗦𝗔) conference last week, where ideas were shared to identify key protection goals and endpoints for the regulations of tomorrow, as well as for the next generation of environmental scientists.   The 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 has been a major driving force behind the R&D of 𝗞𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗶𝗦 for the past 14 years. We offer a vast selection of 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 for animal-free chemical safety assessments (either as a stand-alone approach or using combined alternative strategies). While science and regulation work towards achieving these new ambitious, environmentally relevant goals, we, at KREATiS, are proud to continue our research for the protection of aquatic organisms within the current environmental safety paradigm. #AFCSA2025 #Ecotoxicology #InSilico #AnimalFreeTesting #ChemicalSafety

We are delighted to welcome Alejandra Pérez Vázquez, one of the 10 fellows of the Horizon project #PharmERA Doctoral Network Project involving students from across the world! Alejandra was born in Madrid, Spain, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences where she first delved into the field of ecotoxicology. This interest motivated her to enroll in the master program on Environmental Contamination and Toxicology where she worked in the evaluation of the health and toxicity of natural contaminated soils using different ecotoxicity endpoints. Today she is working on on the PharmaERA project to unravel ecotoxicological effects of pharmaceutical compounds and their Mechanisms of toxic Action (MechoA) for KREATiS in collaboration with INRAE Lyon, AquaBioTech Group in Malta and Centre Ecotox/Oekotoxzentrum in Switzerland. Welcome Alejandra ! 👏
