[ ESG commitment 1 - Guaranteeing access to the law ] ⚖️ The International Day of #Democracy was held on 15 September.   ♻️ To mark the event, Lefebvre Sarrut restated its unwavering support for the rule of law and the European democratic model, fundamental to our business and our purpose of enabling knowledge for a fairer, more efficient and sustainable society. 📕 Facilitating access to the law for all while ensuring the long-term future of our company represents a major challenge we are tackling every day. [CSRD vs NFRD: What’s new?] ♻️ Dive into non-financial reports: what has the CSRD changed? The European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (#CSRD) has been in force since January 1, 2024, requiring companies to provide detailed, standardised information on their environmental, social, and governance performance. 📃 This is a major step forward for non-financial reporting, building on the Non-Financial Reporting Directive (#NFRD). Introduced in 2014, this previous directive was innovative at the time, laying the groundwork for regular non-financial corporate reporting.
