[ Battle for the Les vergers Boiron Cup: Miami 2024 ] Our Americas team recently hosted its annual cocktail competition last month in #Miami, Florida. The challenge: who could mix up the most creative, balanced and fruit-forward cocktail featuring our range of Ambient fruit puree. 🥭🍍 Seven talented #mixologists were selected to compete in the grand finale, hosted at The Dead Flamingo Pop-Up. [ Souk Pastry 2024 ] We recently had the privilege of participating in the inaugural Souk Pastry event, held at the prestigious Mandarin Oriental in Dubai—a true milestone for the pastry and baking industry in the UAE. This vibrant event brought together top talents and innovative minds, creating a unique space where culinary artistry reached new heights. Les Vergers Boiron was honored to be part of this journey through : ✨ Inspiring masterclasses featuring international talents like Etienne Leroy and Yusuke Aoki. ✨ Stunning creations by local talents such as Tom Coll and Wassim Ourfali. ✨ A dedicated booth inspired by our iconic mango—one of the region's favorite flavors. Our very own Chef Thibault Marchand wowed the crowd with recipes that highlighted the versatility of our purées. From the coconut-lime cookie to festive treats with raspberry, lychee, mango, and passionfruit, as well as the apricot-pistachio financier and strawberry-lemon cake, each creation was a tribute to fruit excellence. 🍋🥭 The highlight? Chef Thibault’s Fruity Caramels—in raspberry, mango, and coconut—were an absolute hit, capturing the taste buds of all 350 guests. Additionally, each attendee left with a Fruitologie cards booklet, while select top chefs had the exclusive opportunity to explore our newly launched Fruit Secrets. 📚 This event truly reinforced our commitment to quality and our premium positioning in the industry. [ Inspiring the next generation of chefs ] The Boiron Americas team visited Culinary Institute Lenotre in #Houston, TX earlier this month, offering two training sessions for both students and industry professionals. The day began with an interactive #Fruitology exercise led by Culinary Director Michael Laiskonis, highlighting the stories behind the exceptional fruits sourced by Les vergers Boiron – their origins, varieties, and processes - as well as inspiration for a range of dessert applications featuring fruits! 🍋🍏 A second session in the afternoon focused on demonstrating techniques with an eye toward the seasonal flavors of autumn and winter – featuring a Bergamot Travel Cake and plated desserts incorporating Coconut, Blackcurrant, Chestnut and Pear. Students and chefs were also treated to flavor-forward confections highlighting Mango, Passion Fruit, and Quince. 🥥🍐 The partnership between Les vergers Boiron and Culinary Institute Lenotre is now entering its tenth year.
