🚀Just a few days ago, we successfully hosted the first AI/ML Summit in Tassin, France, bringing together data scientists from across the company’s global network. Participants from the United States, the Netherlands, and Italy joined global team members for four days of intensive learning, collaboration, and discussion about future AI projects aimed at enhancing our lab operations, back office, and customer experience. The summit facilitated rich discussions and the sharing of knowledge and experience in machine learning, setting the stage to launch new AI projects in each region. This was an important step forward in our AI journey, highlighting the company's commitment to fostering an innovative culture and expanding its AI capabilities across its local operations to better serve our customers. International Mineral Oil Analysis Workshop: A Summit of Global Experts 🌍🔬 The International Mineral Oil Analysis Workshop (Aug 27-28, 2024), co-hosted by AOAC Southeast Asia Chapter (AOAC-SEA) and the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB), brought together global experts to discuss the latest developments and future trends in mineral oil analysis. Mérieux NutriSciences was proud to contribute significantly to the event, with our team of experts sharing cutting-edge insights: Luis Rodrigues (Mérieux NutriSciences - France) explored MOH contamination sources, regulatory requirements, and market controls. Eileen Schulz (Mérieux NutriSciences Germany) provided practical tips through live broadcast covering the full scope of MOH analysis—from sample prep to data interpretation. Dr. Meng Fu (Mérieux NutriSciences China) discussed extraction methods and risk management strategies for improving MOH analysis results. A Mérieux NutriSciences team took part in an innovation bootcamp! 🚀 Initiated by bioMérieux, the #InventureBootcamp is an incubator for innovation designed to support the development of projects using agile start-up methods. It took place in Lyon, France, over a one-week period from August 20th to 26th. This year, four MXNS colleagues were selected to participate in the bootcamp around the theme of “Water Value Management”: how to support Food industries managing the risks & impacts of Water scarcity within their operations? The MXNS team was composed of 4 people: Gabriela Oliva (GKA manager, NA), Margaret Podgorski (Regulatory Affairs, NA), Agnès Delord (Marketing manager, EU) and José Pla (Marketing manager, MEA ASPAC), and sponsored by @Sébastien Moulard, President North America. During this week, the aim was to build a concrete offer, tested with experts and potential customers, which was presented to the Executive Committee at the end of the BootCamp. The team members will continue leading the proposed concept in “project-mode” for the next months, to validate the value with customers, refine the action plan and find potential partners. For Mérieux NutriSciences participants, this was a great experience of Collaboration with other BioMérieux teams and of Innovation spirit, thanks to the support of start-up coaches and the immersive set up. #Collaboration #Innovation #MXNS
