🔴 Discovered at the French Society for Extracellular Vesicles (FSEV) Annual Meeting in Strasbourg! The #Myriade team explored an insightful poster by the Laboratoire Matière et Systèmes Complexes (MSC) at Université Paris Cité, CNRS UMR 7057, Paris, titled “Interplay of Nanoparticles Transport and Nanorheology through Interferometric Light Microscopy.” This research emphasizes the pressing need for innovative tools to characterize extracellular vesicles (#EVs) in pharmaceutical formulations. While standard rheology can capture macroscopic viscosity, local viscosity varies with probe size—critical for understanding the stability, structure, and drug-release profiles of these formulations. MSC’s approach, using ILM (#Videodrop), enables high-precision tracking and nanorheology of individual EVs within viscous matrices, making it an invaluable tool for quality control in EV-based therapies. Their work is paving the way for regulatory-aligned bionanotherapies and more effective drug delivery solutions.
