NAWAH, manufacturer of 3D nanocarbon, was extremely honored and privileged to host Brian Wardle as a special guest at the inauguration of our new industrial plant located in the heart of Provence, south of France. Professor WARDLE is the founder and director of the NECSTLab research group and the MIT NECST industrial consortium (Nano-Engineered Composite aerospace STructures) in the Dept. of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). NAWAH’s collaboration with Professor WARDLE began in 2021 and has continually strengthened. In June 2024, NAWAH became a full and active member of the MIT NECST consortium. The technology-focused consortium prioritizes enhancing the performance of advanced aerospace materials and structures by strategically integrating carbon nanotubes with traditional advanced composites to create hybrid architectures. The consortium's research covers a wide range of topics, from fundamental science to applied research, including laminate-level manufacturing, sub-structural strength testing, and the environmental health and safety of nanostructured materials. As a member of the consortium, NAWAH’s decade of experience in the research and development of vertically aligned carbon nanotubes will provide significant benefits to industrial stakeholders across a wide range of applications. Ce mardi 22 octobre 2024, NAWAH a marqué une nouvelle étape significative dans l'industrialisation de son nanocarbone 3D, destiné aux marchés des composites et de l'hydrogène. Plus de 140 invités se sont rassemblés pour célébrer l'inauguration du nouveau site industriel de NAWAH. Merci marc zimmermann pour avoir présenté l'activité de NAWAH et celle de Carboneo au salon HY FCELL à Stuttgart ce mercredi. NAWAH porte à l'échelle industrielle la forme ultime du carbone en le sculptant à l'échelle nanométrique pour former son nanocarbone. 🔊 SCTC – Spacecraft Charging and Technology Conference Last month, Jean-Charles Mateo-Velez from #ONERA, The French Aerospace Lab, featured a work using NAWAH’s VACNTs at the 17th Spacecraft Charging Technology Conference in Avignon, France. The multipartner team, led by ONERA, has demonstrated the capability of a VACNT passive electron emitter to reduce the absolute voltage of a spacecraft in geosynchronous charging environments.
