On October 17th, Newfund's CTO, Antoine Latrille, participated in Vestberry's Venture Intelligence Day in Prague. 💡 Antoine contributed to a panel on “Data Engineering in Venture Capital” alongside Alex Patow ( Inflection.xyz) and Tommaso Condulmari (P101), moderated by Elena Ghiniță. The panel emphasized that data engineering is essential for both new and established funds. Success requires a top-down vision and bottom-up buy-in, with a foundation of solid engineering before moving into data science. 🛠️ Following the panel, Antoine led a workshop on “Data-Driven LP Relationships,” where he discussed the importance of adapting to different LP expectations across borders. It integrates seamlessly with hospital information systems, optimizing time and significantly enhancing the quality of medical documentation by reducing errors in reports. Founded in 2019, Arkhn developed a Health Data Warehouse solution that manages 10 million patient files, while adhering to GDPR and data warehouses standards. 🚀 We are thrilled to announce the closing of the Newfund NAEH INNOPY fund, with the support of the Banque des Territoires, under the #France2030 initiative. This fund is dedicated to supporting innovative startups with a strong impact in the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and is linked to the Ambition Pyrénées INNOPY project. Newfund NAEH INNOPY will invest among others, in companies in the Département des Pyrenées-Atlantiques (64) and Département des Hautes-Pyrénées (65) departments, aiming to drive the region’s transformation through sustainable innovation. 🎙️ This announcement was made official with a press conference in Bayonne on October 9th, reuniting all the entrepreneurship and innovation actors of the region.
