🚀 Yesterday marked a significant milestone with the successful launch of the Ariane 6 spacerocket! We are incredibly proud to have played a part in this achievement through our innovative Canopée vessel, equipped with OceanWings technology. The Canopée, the world’s first hybrid industrial RORO ship with wind assistance, has been instrumental in transporting Ariane 6 launcher parts from European ports to the Pariacabo port in Kourou, French Guiana. Thanks to our OceanWings wind assistance, CO₂e emissions have been reduced in average by an impressive 20 tonnes per day! 🌱💚 👏 ArianeGroup, Jifmar Group, Zéphyr et Borée, Alizés, Neptune Navigate #Sustainability #Innovation #GreenTech #ClimateAction

🌍 Between 2018 and 2023, there were more retrofit WAPS installations than newbuilds. Source : Clarksons, 29 February 2024 Given that this trend is expected to continue, our modular design and lightweight wingsails are paving the way for seamless integration into existing vessels. Here's how: ✅ Efficient Installation: Their light weight reduces the need for additional structural steel and allows for integration with smaller yard cranes. ✅ Aerodynamic Design: Their compact profile ensures no impact on the "ship equipment number", maintaining vessel performance metrics. ✅ Low Power Requirements: Consuming less than 1.5kW on average, our wingsails require only small electrical cabinets and minimal cabling, simplifying electrical setup. OceanWings is committed to delivering solutions that are not only sustainable but also practical and adaptable for the industry’s evolving needs. 💡 Curious about how our wingsails can transform your fleet? Let's discuss! #Retrofit #RigidSail #OceanWings #WindAssistedPropulsion
