We're excited to conclude this year's Community Transport Week by showcasing the #Solent Region’s innovative approach, which integrates community transport into its future transport zone by digitizing dial-a-ride services through our platform. This will increase the visibility of community transport and make it easier to book online. What happens when you mix #buses and community transport? 💡 Hertfordshire County Council have done just that, launching an on-demand bus service around the towns of #Buntingford and #Dacorum and using the same platform to manage their specialist dial-a-ride transport services. Blending community transport and bus services has helped them deliver more and better transport for everyone, putting the resources they have available to good use. 🎯 #CTWeek24 #CommunityTransport #BetterTransport

Community transport is so much more than a bus service. For over a year, Lydney Dial-a-Ride has successfully run The #Robin service in South Gloucestershire, thanks in large part to the outreach efforts of its manager, Louise Currie. She has ensured that the community understands how to make use of the service. From doctors' surgeries to supermarkets, Louise has spread the word about how to use the Robin - whether for personal bookings or arranging transport for patients and clients to ensure they can get to important appointments and events. We recently took a closer look at this service in our webinar ‘Best practice in Digital DRT and community transport’, organised by Landor LINKS Ltd. Community Transport provides services that help fill the gaps in the transport network - getting people where they need to be. We’re proud to work with 5 Community Transport operators to boost their impact with our DRT platform. The software organises the bookings and the routes so that everyone gets to go where they need to go - and CT operators get to do the outreach that they do best. #CTWeek24

Yesterday, our colleagues from Siemens Mobility Austria, Hacon and Padam Mobility had the pleasure of attending the Mobility Forum Salzburg. It was a fantastic event showcasing the exciting advances in Austria's public mobility sector! A big thank you to everyone who got in touch and came to see our presentations. Our colleague Gerd Overbeck provided insights into how the nationwide integration of on-demand services can improve public transport and how incorporating these services into, for example, regional journey planners, can contribute to creating a more user-friendly travel experience. We are thrilled to see that the #HertsLynx on-demand service is celebrating its third anniversary and has reached an incredible 100,000 passenger trips! 🏆 This achievement demonstrates the growing importance of on-demand transport in North and East Hertfordshire. With an average of 5,500 trips per month, HertsLynx continues to make travel easier and more accessible for local communities.
