This morning, we were honored to welcome Jean Castex, CEO of RATPgroup to the Paris office of Tootbus. 🤝    Tootbus is our sightseeing subsidiary offering open-top low-emission bus tours. With its hop-on, hop-off service, it provides an eco-friendly way to explore the rich history and culture of Paris in comfort. 🚌    Jean Castex took the time to meet with our Tootbus teams and discuss how the service contributes to sustainable tourism in the French capital, one of the world's most-visited cities.    In a time when the environmental impact of tourism is under the spotlight in Europe and elsewhere, it was a fantastic opportunity for our people to discuss the topic with someone with experience and passion for bringing people together.    Of course, we couldn’t let him go without experiencing Tootbus firsthand – and what a beautiful day it was for a tour! 😎☀️    #Tootbus #Sightseeing #SustainableTourism #Paris #RATP #RATPDev

How does RATP Dev manage its ESG data and carbon impact? 🌐 This was the question Grégory MALET, CSR Director at RATP Dev, answered recently at a workshop at PRODURABLE, the largest European event for sustainable economy solutions. 📊 He set out our CSR ambitions and underlined the stakes of managing ESG data. At RATP Dev, we have implemented advanced data collection and analysis processes to monitor the progress of our CSR strategy and to comply with relevant reporting frameworks, such as the CSRD. As Grégory explained, measuring sustainability-related criteria is increasingly recognized as important by public authorities, and this is reflected in bids. In this way tools such as Traace data management platform not only help us measure our positive impact, but also provide a means of differentiating our offer and open pathways for innovation. To learn more about our collective commitment to real, positive and sustainable impact in all our activities worldwide, find the link to our Manifesto for Sustainable Cities in the comments below. 👇 #PRODURABLE #Sustainability #ESG #CSR #CSRD #PublicTransport

A decade of success in the Philippines 🚆🌏 We are proud to mark ten years of collaboration with Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), whom we support in the technical and operation aspects of the Light Rail Transit Line 1. Known as the Green Line, LRT Line 1 was the first line of the Manila metro system, one of Southeast Asia’s oldest transport systems. Today the network covers 20.7 km with 20 stations. Manila has a growing urban population and over 350,000 passengers rely on our partnership with LRMC for their daily mobility needs. Henri Pottier, CEO Asia-Pacific for RATP Dev said: “As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had with LRMC. Our shared commitment to improving public transportation in Manila has been the cornerstone of our success. We look forward to continuing this collaboration and bringing even more innovative solutions to the region.” Jose Ma. K. Lim, President and CEO of LRMC, added: “The partnership between LRMC and RATP Dev has been valuable in enabling us to achieve our goal of upgrading the LRT-1 service through the years. RATP Dev has supported LRMC in both technical and operational aspects of LRT-1, ensuring that our maintenance and operational readiness programs are in place and effectively implemented when we operate Phase 1 of Cavite Extension later this year.” We are committed to supporting Manila’s continuing development and currently serve as a technical advisor for the Cavite Extension project, which will extend the current line by approximately 11.7 km – further boosting connectivity in the Manila area. ✨ #RATPDev #Philippines #Manila #PublicTransport #UrbanRail

As you all know, Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida on Saturday, tearing across all southeastern states and devastating towns and communities in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Virginia and Tennessee. As we write, there are sadly more than 130 dead and hundreds still missing – in addition to millions of homes without power, and terrible damage to buildings and infrastructures. Although several of our networks were severely affected, we are relieved to announce that all our employees have now been accounted for. All our thoughts go to our colleagues, their families and friends. Our RATP Dev USA team is actively helping in the rescue and relief efforts. #RATPDev #USA #Solidarity

What’s the best public transport model to facilitate cross-border mobility? 💡 This morning at the European Mobility Expo, Serge Reynaud, Senior Vice President for France and Switzerland at RATP Dev, shared his experience tackling this question. 🚋 For over 20 years, RATP Dev has been deeply involved with transport authorities on both sides of the border, sharing its technical expertise to ease the transformation of urban transit in the Franco-Swiss region of Greater Geneva. Nearly 30% of residents live in France but work in Switzerland, making cross-border mobility a complex challenge. The 2019 launch of the Leman Express and extension of tram line 17, connecting Annemasse to Geneva in just 25 minutes, has been a game changer, boosting ridership on the TAC Mobilités network by 10% between 2018 and 2023. 🏔️ As Serge Reynaud emphasized: "Cross-border mobilities are a huge argument for the attractiveness of urban transport as a whole. The increase in ridership on Annemasse's network proves it. But it is also a challenge to maintain common standards for travelers on both sides of the border." 🤝 #CrossBorderMobility #PublicTransport #SustainableMobility #EuMo2024
