[CARBON CREDITS] Recommerce emits 28 000 carbon credits ♻ We are pleased to announce we’re now offering carbon credits, derived from our European refurbishment activities. This initiative underscores our dedication to the Circular Economy through the refurbishment of +6M devices since 2️⃣ 0️⃣ 0️⃣ 9️⃣ 📲 As a responsible player in the refurbishment sector, we recognize the critical role of reuse in our decarbonation journey. Indeed, a refurbished smartphone avoids the emission of 50kg of CO2 on average ☁ Entering the carbon credit market gives a financial dimension to our industrial mission of over 15 years to give devices a second life, and especially gives us the opportunity to continue our mission to :  👉 Reinforce local business models, by fostering trade in programs, giving more purchasing power to EU consumers and creating local jobs 👨🔧 👉 Overall increase the number of refurbished devices 🔁 It also bears many co benefits such as : ✔ Funding collection points such as our REBOX project launched with Boulanger and ELECTRO DEPOT this year, ✔ Supporting our donation program to charities for each order placed on Recommerce.com ❤️ ✔ Supporting our commitment to work with socially engaged companies such as GESTFORM, realise and @Morphosis Our 28 000 credits have undergone Riverse certification methodology, and are verified and certified by VERIFAVIA. [OUR ANNUAL SEMINAR 2024] Last week, we had the pleasure of attending our annual Seminar ! ☀ As every year, this special time allows us to thank all the teams, to reflect on the past year and celebrate our collective successes : 2️⃣ 0️⃣ 2️⃣ 4️⃣ has indeed been a fruitful year for our company, with new markets opened and new solutions extended to strategic partners, thanks to the hard work from all departments 🚀 The seminar is also an important moment to share our main goals and strategies for the upcoming months and years, especially around innovation, fostering transparent exchanges and engaging every employee in the journey ahead 🙋♂️ With a growing team composed of 200 employees across 12 countries 🌍 , this moment is a privileged time to reconnect all together 👫 Most of the time we're caught up in our to-do list, with our heads in the game, so it's important for us to get together as individuals : Taking the time to re!discover ourselves, to share our common values of teamwork and benevolence, fostering the spirit of support and reignite the joy that fuels our work. AUJOURD’HUI, VOS TELEPHONES PEUVENT ENCORE ÊTRE UTILES ! ✅ Recommerce Group lance REBOX, un projet de Collecte Solidaire et Responsable 🔄️📲 pour reconditionner ou recycler les anciens téléphones en partenariat avec Ecologic France, éco-organisme agréé de la filière nationale de réparation, de réemploi et de recyclage des équipements électriques et électroniques (EEE). According to our latest study on the second-hand mobile market conducted with Kantar, about 44% of French consumers still have doubts about refurbished devices.
