Meet Niharika Sood, Workshop Manager, at our site in Pantnagar, India. At Roquette, we’re helping tomorrow’s leaders find their path to success. As part of our sustainable development commitment of being involved with our local communities, we support educational opportunities for young talents near our sites globally. 🚀 In the USA, we launched our Roquette Scholarship community-based program eight years ago to support students entering college or university in any of the following fields of study: nutrition and health, agriculture or environmental sustainability, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). 👨🏼🎓 So far, we have supported 61 students in communities near our US sites to pursue undergraduate education at a school of their choice in the US. Through our partnership with six high schools near our sites and a community college near our Keokuk, Iowa, production site, we're encouraging students to learn more and earn degrees in the fields and industries in which we work or collaborate. 👩🏽🎓 Several of these students have benefitted from renewable scholarships through all four years of study, along with potential internships, as eligible, to help fund their education and develop their skills and knowledge.
