Our Associates are always welcome to bring their dogs to the office every day, but something truly special happened at our Campus in France recently! In celebration of the incredible benefits of the human-animal bond, a few days ago we organized a Dog Day at our headquarters. The event featured several activities focused on enhancing their health and well-being. From workshops and dog shows to paw contests and more, there was something for every furry friend to enjoy - and they clearly loved it! Take a look at some highlights from the event! #RoyalCanin #ProudlyRoyalCanin #ABetterWorldForPets

"The message from today’s sessions is clear: we must encourage and nurture partnerships and collaboration across the value chain. As the saying goes, ‘it takes a village to raise a child,’ and this principle applies to every actor in the chain. From farmers to logistics providers to pet owners, working together is essential for a sustainable future.” – Marion Sarteel, Global Climate Lead for Royal Canin and Paws for the Planet’s moderator. Thank you to all the speakers and attendees of our LinkedIn live session last week! It was a day filled with valuable insights and innovations. We explored circular economy practices in pet food production, sustainable packaging trends, and the challenges of sustainable logistics. Discussions also touched on sourcing ingredients that minimize waste and engaging farmers in regenerative agriculture. Want to recap it? Check out the recording at: https://lnkd.in/d8xzccY8. Mars dedicated over 7,700 hours to gathering data, conducting surveys with both pet owners and non-pet owners, and consulting experts over 9 months. The result? The State of Pet Homelessness Project was created to drive more informed and targeted action to help reduce homelessness and ensure pets get the care they need. At Royal Canin, we are strongly committed to pet health and welfare. That’s why we proudly support initiatives like the State of Pet Homelessness Project, which brought together top animal welfare experts and organizations, including Humane Society International, PEDIGREE Foundation, International Cat Care, Alliance for Contraception in Cats and Dogs, International Partnership for Dogs (IPFD), and ICAM (International Companion Animal Management Coalition) to address the lack of global data in this field. This #RememberMeThursday, a global movement raising awareness for orphaned pets waiting for adoption, we’re shining a light on pets in need of their forever homes. Spending time with our pets after a long day of activities and meetings can be a great way to relieve stress. However, we may sometimes show our affection by giving them extra food, which can contribute to overweight and obesity. Check out the main causes of this condition and consult your veterinarian if your pet is facing this issue. #RoyalCanin #HealthThroughNutrition #WeightManagement

It’s back-to-school time in many parts of the world, making it the perfect moment to meet Forrest and Biscuit – two of the newest school dogs in Ireland supported by the Royal Canin Foundation through the Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland project. Last week, they embarked on an exciting journey at their new schools, where they'll provide emotional support to over 700 students, teachers, and the broader school community. Forrest, at 21 months old, is calm and playful, thriving on human connection (and plenty of hugs). Biscuit, his equally lovable buddy, brings a mischievous energy to group sessions, making every moment fun and engaging. The goal of this project? To place 10 school dogs in schools to help children with autism or neurodiverse students by creating a welcoming, inclusive environment. These amazing dogs are here to uplift spirits, foster companionship, and enhance learning opportunities for all. Pets truly have the power to make our lives better, which is why at Royal Canin and Mars Petcare we’re strongly committed to our Purpose: A BETTER WORLD FOR PETS. Off to China! This week, we’re excited to be part of two incredible events: the WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) World Congress in Suzhou and, in conjunction, our very own Royal Canin China Vet Summit. Stop by our booth and classroom to connect with our veterinary professionals, explore our scientific publications, and discover our latest innovations, including the Urinary SO® + Satiety diets. WSAVA has been a valued partner for decades: for over 20 years, we’ve proudly supported their Nutrition Committee and continue championing more of their initiatives. It’s fantastic to see the event return to APAC and to welcome our vet delegates from Southeast Asia, fostering collaboration across the region. At Royal Canin, we believe preventative care and the role of veterinarians are more crucial than ever as the industry evolves. Don’t miss the chance to stop by the events and stay updated - we'd love to connect with you! #RoyalCanin #WSAVA #VeterinaryMedicine
