SEABER UUV impressive endurance! 🚀 A year ago, we crossed the English Channel: a 38 km shore to shore mission between Folkestone (UK) and Wissant (France). This challenge proved the robustness and high navigation capability of our YUCO Micro-AUV. Since then, our customers have been deploying their favorite survey tool on a daily basis for an 8-hour/40 km mission with complete confidence. 🇬🇧 YUCO micro-AUVs will participate at deep sea exploration within the France 2030 Project! 🌊  We, SEABER, and our partners CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifiqueLEMAR et MARine Biodiversity Exploitation and Conservation MARBEC are very proud and honored to announce we are part of the France 2030 plan with the SEAMAP Project for large-scale automated mapping and characterization of biodiversity with micro-AUVs fleet! The project involves a fleet of 10 micro-AUVs, equipped with advanced sensors, for large-scale biodiversity mapping. Incredible archaeological mission carried out in the Solomon Islands with the SEABER Micro-AUV! 🇸🇧 In collaboration with Sealark Exploration, we were commissioned by the Dfense POW/MIA Accounting Agency to perform an archaelogical survey in the Solomon Islands to look after wrecks. Equipped with the YUCO-SCAN Micro-AUV, we surveyed a wide area and successfully completed the mission! See below some side scan sonar data collected during one of them! 👀 ⛵ HMNZS Moa (T233) was a RNZN bird-class minesweeper that served during World War II. ✈️ The American Wildcat aircraft, likely the Jimmy Swett which sank during WW2 in April 1943 in the Solomon Islands.
