Meet the speakers: 🌿 Luc Schuiten - Architect and President at VEGETAL CITY. Luc has dedicated nearly four decades to finding alternative architectural solutions that harmonise with nature. His innovative approach has led to the creation of the concept of "archiborescence," where cities are built using living materials. 🎮 Thomas Geffroyd - Creative Director at Ubisoft Annecy. With over 15 years of experience in game creation, Thomas aims to convey social connections between players and their virtual worlds, fostering a deeper relationship with the digital environments they inhabit. 💡 Victor Vieillard - Lighting Designer at STUDIO BY NIGHT. Victor's expertise lies in the art of lighting design, both in urban planning and interior spaces. He aims to use light poetically to transform and enhance our daily lives, demonstrating that light is a matter to be used with purpose and moderation. 🏙️ Sara de.Gouy - Architect, Designer, and Plastic Artist. Sara's work begins with a deep understanding of the land and its cultural context, allowing her to create custom-made projects that incorporate light and colour. She collaborates closely with end-users to meet their needs and aspirations. 🗣️ This discussion, moderated by Gaële Beaussier-Lombard, will talk about various disciplines, from sustainable architecture to virtual worlds and innovative lighting designs.
