Thermoablation of thyroid nodules is positioned as a very good therapeutic option to avoid unnecessary thyroid surgery. 3 weeks ago I was at the European Hospital in Marseille with Dr. Eveline Slotema sharing experiences in the microwave thermoablation treatment of patients with thyroid nodules. Yesterday, I was with my friend Dr Gargallo at the Jimenez Díaz Foundation learning new access routes and new indications for thermoablation of thyroid nodules with microwaves with the Doctors Hermosin and Crespo. The personal experience of both Marseille and Madrid has been wonderful and confirms my intention to progress in the study of minimally invasive techniques for these patients. The reality in Spain of thermoablation is imposed every day thanks to the will of the doctors who have always opted for it and by the HIFU, microwave or radiofrequency companies that have never forgotten us. I leave you some images of my last treatment performed with HIFU where you can see the hyperechoic image and the treatment performed yesterday by Dr. Hermosin and Crespo at FJD in Madrid. It is our obligation to provide the patient with all expectations for the treatment of thyroid nodules and choose the best one in each case.

[BREAST FIBROADENOMA] 📥 New publication on our Echopulse HIFU platform with 5-year follow-up 👉 A cohort of 27 patients with symptomatic breast fibroadenoma was treated in one Echopulse session at the University Hospital of Tuebingen, in Germany. Based on 5-year follow-up results, Dr Bettina Boeer & al. report BFA nearly disappeared (mean volume reduction of 98%) and nearly became asymptomatic (mean VAS score of 7/100 and palpability going from 85% down to 8%) among responders. 👏 Congratulations to the team!
