🚀 A historic day for PANDORE and the entire U-Space team! 🌍✨ On March 15, 2025, our PANDORE satellite was successfully launched and is now in orbit! 🛰️ 👏🏻 From the very first contacts, we were able to confirm its good health, and the ground team is successfully communicating with it. A key milestone for this ambitious mission! 👍🏻 Supported by the France Relance stimulus package, the PANDORE project aims to demonstrate in orbit innovative payloads dedicated to positioning, navigation and timing (PNT). This major breakthrough opens the way to new strategic capabilities in the space sector. This success is the fruit of months of hard work, innovation and collaboration, carried out with passion by a committed and close-knit team. 🚀 Mission accomplished! 🚀 We've done it! Our SOAP satellite is now in orbit, and this is a source of great pride for the whole team. 👏🏻 From the very first signals, we were able to confirm that it was in very good health, a great satisfaction after months of hard work, perseverance and innovation. 💪🛰️ This project is part of the Space Surveillance Service (SSA), developed under the France 2030 initiative, with the mission of detecting and monitoring debris and space objects in orbit. A huge well done to all the teams involved and to our partner Airbus. Thanks to CNES for their trust and commitment. This success is a key step in our development, and proves that we're moving towards becoming a truly major company. 🚀Here we are! 🌍 At the beginning of January 2025, our 12U satellite called “PANDORE” was finally ready to head for the city of Berlin,where it was integrated by our partner Exolaunch. This close collaboration, on both a technical and human level, prepares the satellites for their journey into space in a large demonstration in orbit project called “Synchrocube”. 👏 A huge thank you to our partners: Safran - Space: for the design of the Synchrocube payload (PNT - Positioning, Navigation and Timing), part of the SYRLINKS product range. Anywaves: for designing the specific antenna for Payload Comat: for the reaction wheels (RW20) and electric propulsion system (PJP30) MICROTEC: for PLCU payload design (Power Load Controller Unit) 💪 A big bravo to our teams, whose tireless commitment and know-how were decisive in bringing this project to a successful conclusion. 🚀 A VIP visit to U-Space We were honoured to welcome the Délégué Général de l'Armement Emmanuel Chiva,  the defence industry attaché in occitanie région Olivier Trelcat and Bernard Soulé, Director of the Aeronautical Technical Centre at DGA, to our  facilities. It was a unique opportunity to show them around our factory, share our achievements and discuss our plans for the future. We were able to visit our cleanrooms, where our teams showcased their expertise, discussed strategic issues and explained the day-to-day challenges that make our business so rewarding. These privileged exchanges are an immense opportunity for our company, allowing us to compare our perspectives and progress alongside exceptional decision-makers. ✨ The Mayor's visit: a rich and constructive exchange ✨   Last week during his visit to B612, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Mayor, Jean-Luc Moudenc to our U-zine for a visit and a time of exchange. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss several key topics. It was an opportunity to discuss the integration of our company into the building, and also to organise a visit of our factory to give him a better idea of our activities. The Mayor met Fabien Apper and Cyril Brotons to discuss our vision, projects and future challenges. He also took the time to talk to employees who work in close proximity to operations and handling, to gain a better understanding of their day-to-day work and expertise. We warmly thank the Mayor for his visit and the quality of the discussions. 🚀 Dress Rehearsal: We're ready to operate our satellites! 🚀 Before each launch, a crucial stage validates that everything is under control: the General Rehearsal (GR). For 48 hours, our teams operate under real-life conditions, 24 hours a day, to make sure everything is perfectly ready before the big day. 3 essential stages mark this validation:  ✅ TQ (Technical Qualification): We test what we're developing to make sure it works.  ✅ OQ (Operational Qualification): We validate the system with the operations team in representative conditions ✅ GR: The actual operational team takes the controls and executes the procedures in conditions faithful to the final operation. ✨ Every passage counts! ✨  Our satellites are only visible for a few minutes every 7-8 hours. Each team must be ready to receive and send data in a very short time. An error impacts the whole chain. Hence the importance of a systematic debrief after each pass. 🌌 Simulation as close to the real thing as possible  Thanks to our hard-in-the-loop simulator, we recreate the space environment and test every possible scenario. ⏳ Two satellites, two teams ⏳  Launching two satellites at the same time is a major challenge that requires flawless organization. Our teams work in synergy to ensure optimal, controlled management of this dual mission. ✨ It's all homemade! ✨  We design and control every stage, from satellite development to operation: design, manufacturing, flight software, ground segment, and operations. 🚀 U-Space was delighted to welcome MPs Corinne Vignon and Arnaud Saint-Martin and U-zine in Toulouse as part of their flash mission “Satellites: military applications and industrial strategies”. 🔍 During this visit, we exchanged views on the strategic stakes of space, the importance of innovation in our industry and the key role of French NewSpace in national sovereignty and defense. 💡 At U-Space, we design innovative technological solutions that play an active role in strengthening France's strategic autonomy in the space industry. These exchanges were a valuable opportunity to share our vision, know-how and commitment to a dynamic and competitive French NewSpace. OUR U-LTIMATE TALENTS 🛸 🌠 We warmly welcome Jeanne and Julien who have recently joined the U-Space team. 👩💻 Jeanne is a work-study student supporting the Quality department with assignments in the fields of quality, safety, environment and CSR. In addition, Jeanne supports U-Space projects in implementing product assurance activities with regard to customer requirements. 👨💻 As head of IT systems and security, Julien defines and leads the IT and security strategy in collaboration with management while overseeing infrastructure management and data protection. He is actively involved in the technical and operational aspects, including deploying IT solutions, managing risks, and coordinating with service providers. Additionally, he provides user training, and oversees budgets to maintain optimal performance and security of information systems. We welcome them onboard ! 🚀
