Umiami est une foodtech française fondée en 2020 avec pour mission de réduire la consommation mondiale de viande et son impact sur la santé, les animaux et l'environnement. Grâce à notre technologie d'umisation, nous pouvons recréer l'expérience des filets de viande et de poisson sans compromettre le goût et la texture. Après l'ouverture de notre premier centre d'innovation pilote l'année dernière, Umiami inaugurera sa première usine de production à grande échelle en octobre 2023. Le site de 14 000 m2 est situé à Duppigheim, en France, près de la frontière allemande, aura une capacité de production de 7 500 tonnes par an avec une ligne de production. Umiami est maintenant prêt à offrir son premier filet de poulet 100% végétal aux entreprises de transformation alimentaire et de restauration.
