Job Description
The Chief Operating Officer will be part of the executive committee, oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring operational excellence across all departments.
In addition, be responsible for:
Establish and drive the company's operational strategies, plans and policies.
Be responsible for the international multi-site scope covering Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, efficiency and cost control.
Focus on change & transformation process, eg : leading of SAP implementation, operational excellence (cost effectiveness) and automation process.
Stakeholder management across internal departments across levels and external partners (customers, suppliers etc).
Ensure that the business complies with legal requirements and with internal and ESG standards.
Promote a motivating, excellence-driven and employee-friendly environment.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally this person combines operational experience with strong strategic capacity to lead a constructive transformation with focus on process improvement.
Master's degree in engineering or related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience within operations, covering a similar scope of multi-site responsibility (minimum total headcount of 1000+ fte).
Sectorial experience and leadership position within the Industrial sector (automotive, machining, assembly, electro mechanics…etc.).
Knowledge of SAP software and lean manufacturing concept.
Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
Problem-solving and results-oriented mindset.
Fluent in English and fluent in either French or German.
