DevOps Lead - Royal Canin Digital Factory (F/M/X)

Location: Aimargues (30 minutes from Montpellier) or Haguenau (30 minutes from Strasbourg)

Reporting to the Develop Factory Lead, we are hiring a DevOps Lead, who will define and drive the DevOps strategy across the Digital Factory to support the organization's ambitions. The DevOps Lead will work in close cooperation with delivery team, architect, integration team, support team as other Mars team such Mars DevOps CoE, Mars Cloud team. They will work in close partnership with external partners and delivery to get the functional or technical support required. They will have to manage a team of 4 external DevOps engineer.

What are we looking for?

• At least 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or equivalent
• Previous experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or Amazon Web Services (AWS
• Previous experience with production Kubernetes clusters as well as with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Advanced proficiency working with CI/CD pipelines such as Github Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipeline
• Experience managing complex technical projects on an international level
• Previous experience as a lead of technical teams with external and internal actors
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Understanding of Digital environment with Agile methodologies and User centric methodologies
  
  

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead for the DevOps team
• Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure using tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and any other solution supporting our ambition
• Work with different teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet their needs
• Monitor and maintain the health of our infrastructure and applications using tools such as Datadog, Loki, Prometheus and Grafana
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems
• Continuously evaluate and improve the infrastructure and deployment processes to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability
• Optimize infrastructure costs through analysis and implementation of cost-saving measures
• Optimize carbon footprint of our infrastructure to reach our 2030 neutral carbon ambition
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Implement and manage deployment strategies such as Canary and Blue-Green to ensure safe and smooth releases of new features and updates
• Drive automation efforts to enhance efficiency across development and operations workflows
