The newly created role of Global Talent & Capability VP for Royal Canin will play a key role in aligning our people priorities with our business growth and transformation.
What are we looking for?
Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field
Preferred qualification: Master/ Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field
12 or more years of progressive P&O experience, including 7-8 years in a management / leadership position
Member of Unit Leadership Team, acting as co-pilot to General Manager in delivering business strategy
P&O Head or Senior P&O Business Partner experience
Deep understanding of Mars Inc people philosophy, strategies, policies and practices, and ability to provide guidance in solving business needs
Proven Line Management and team leadership experience
Global experience preferred; ability to work across different cultures essential
Experience of change management - leading transformation agendas including cultural change
Advanced consulting skills with proven ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders
Ability to effectively lead through ambiguity; prioritizing business needs with resource
Comprehensive experience in development and implementation of strategic initiatives through to execution while acting as an Associate Advocate and change agent
Solid knowledge of global and local policies and practices and understand their application in solving business needs and ability to provide guidance
What will be your key responsibilities?
People & Organisation Strategy
Lead with data and insights to develop appropriate organizational solutions and people strategies in line with the RC OGSM to drive an unparalleled associate experience
Identify the necessary capabilities that support the short and long-term needs of the business; aligning and evolving organization design as appropriate, in line with the Five Principles and the Associate Concept
Develop workforce plans that translate into an actionable Talent strategies
Champion talent development, driving leadership accountability and developing a diverse and capable talent pipeline complemented with differentiated sourcing strategies
Create and sustain an inclusive and thriving culture based on the Five Principles and Associate concept and driving Associate engagement
Business Leadership
Guide the global functional BP together with each of the global functional leadership team to proactively monitor and interpret external market trends to shape the business strategy in line with our purpose and connected to the petcare ecosystem.
Supervises P&O BPs for Global Corporate Functions (VCO, Legal, S&F, P&O, R&D)
Act as a trusted coach and credible partner to senior leaders at Royal Canin
Role model the Five Principles every day; creating a Guardian mindset anchored in ethics, compliance and strong governance
Optimise P&O model
Drive quality and efficiency across the P&O operating model, enhancing the Associate and Line Manager experience by being the voice of the business, communicating emerging business needs and influencing solutions, tools and programs required.
Identify where differentiated solutions are required, collaborating, influencing and optimizing the model to meet business needs
P&O function leadership
Lead and develop a high performing team to drive the Mars and Royal Canin principles culture, goals and objectives through the business
Create diverse and deep P&O talent pipelines
Plays a key role supporting one PC ecosystem projects
