Servomex is the global expert in gas analysis and part of the FTSE 250 Spectris Group on the London Stock Exchange. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Key Account Manager to join Servomex in our Industrial Process & Emissions (IP&E) business unit. This role is home-based in France.


The Key Account Manager will promote Servomex products and services within the IP&E market sector. They will cover France and Africa territories and enjoy frequent domestic travel, with potential to visit other countries/locations as required by the business and customer demands. The motivated Key Account Manager will grow, drive and nurture first class relationships with customers to retain, boost and develop these strategic partnerships, ensuring sustained profitable sales growth and market share. About the Opportunity:


  • To deliver order and sales objectives for the targeted key accounts as part of the assigned territories sales plan.
  • Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with key accounts in the assigned territories to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives.
  • Create and develop the business plan and sales strategy for the targeted key accounts.
  • Define and manage the monthly & quarterly sales objectives.
  • Develop the agent and distributor network required at the key account to ensure that appropriate partners are in place to serve the key accounts and that they receive regular training and guidance on selling Servomex products.
  • Work in close co-ordination with these channel partners to establish individual sales objectives in line with the Company’s Plan.
  • Grow more key accounts and implement the plan for expansion of direct sales.
  • Establish target markets, key application areas and customers in co-ordination with Marketing, providing regular customer and market feedback.
  • Arrange customer visits, seminars, symposia, conferences and other events as and when required in order to develop new sales opportunities for Servomex.
  • Liaise with sales channels and Servomex departments to ensure any technical or commercial problems are resolved promptly.
  • Report back using the company CRM tool Sales Force.com on customers and opportunities on a regular basis as requested by management.




About Your Talent:


  • Proven experience and a successful track record of sales within the Gas Analysis/ Process Instrumentation industry
  • Proven knowledge and experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, and/or industrial gas/semi-conductor market
  • Familiar with key accounts’ instrument engineers and the EPC and or large contractors buying process
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Semiconductor, Industrial Gas markets
  • Strong capability to develop and manage sales channel and distributors as well as mega project hunting capability
  • Social skills, commercial acumen, capable of working under pressure and within tight deadlines, capable of working in a team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • KAM (key account management) with large national & international accounts
  • Result oriented attitude and strategic thinking mindset
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skill
  • Willingness to travel nationally. International travel will be required from time to time
  • Experience of using CRM tools (preferably Sales Force.com) and Microsoft Office
  • Miller Heiman and/or another strategic selling tool is desirable but not essential
  • Fluent French and English at all levels (Arabic language would be useful but not essential)
  • Good time/task management, good understanding and management of urgencies and priorities





Location: France (home based - preferably in Normandy, Paris area, Marseille or Lyon)

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday
