The Software Engineer, Embedded Systems is tasked with designing, developing, and deploying Yocto-built Linux systems tailored for embedded applications. The objective is to create efficient embedded file systems, manage network interfaces (Wi-Fi, Ethernet), and support various peripherals (Bluetooth, USB, HDMI) while providing a robust platform for embedded functional services development.
The position is located in Toulouse or in Paris.
Responsibilities And Duties
Develop and customize Yocto-built Linux distributions for embedded systems.
Efficiently manage embedded file systems to optimize resource utilization and performance.
Configure and manage network interfaces including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and other communication protocols.
Integrate and support peripherals such as Bluetooth, USB, HDMI, etc., ensuring compatibility and reliability.
Provide tools and support for embedded functional services development on the embedded Linux platform.
Profile
Abilities and Competences:
Proficiency in Yocto Project for building custom Linux distributions.
Strong understanding of embedded Linux systems and kernel configuration.
Experience in managing embedded file systems and optimizing resource usage.
Knowledge of networking protocols and experience in configuring network interfaces.
Familiarity with peripheral interfaces and protocols such as Bluetooth, USB, HDMI, etc.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in embedded Linux environments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
years of experience in embedded systems development with a focus on embedded Linux.
Proficiency in Yocto Project and Linux kernel configuration.
Experience in configuring and managing embedded file systems.
