🐳 LE SAVIEZ-VOUS 🐋 ? ⬇

🐋 The Cluster Maritime Luxembourgeois asbl organized an exclusive 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 with The Great Whale Conservancy — Whale Guardians™ on June 6th, 2024, with twenty of its members at the Cercle Münster in #Luxembourg.
👉 Our members had the privilege to listen to the Executive Director of the organization, Michael Fishbach, who delivered an insightful discussion on the need for creating safe passages for the maritime industry while protecting great whales from unintentional vessel strikes. He presented a proven proof-of-concept to safeguard whales while maintain shipping activities without danger.
🔍 The lack of data is a critical aspect, and the maritime industry could play a leading pivotal role in developing and implementing effective solutions.
🌊 The Great Whale Conservancy — Whale Guardians™, supported by our members COBELFRET and Euronav, is dedicated to protecting the world’s great whales and their habitats, with a particular focus on the blue whale. Their goal is to double blue whale numbers by 2050 by significantly reducing ship strikes.
✨ We extend our heartfelt thanks to Michael Fishbach and his wife for their enlightening presentation and to all attendees for their active participation!
