🔴 La révision de la norme ISO 22000:2018 s'accélère Le sous-comité de l'ISO pour les systèmes de management de la sécurité alimentaire - ISO/TC34/SC17 - a lancé un appel à experts pour participer à la deuxième révision de la norme ISO 22000:2018 Systèmes de management de la sécurité alimentaire - Exigences pour toute organisation de la chaîne alimentaire. Les utilisateurs de la norme, en tant qu'entreprises alimentaires tout au long de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, clients, participants à la communauté de l'assurance de la conformité, autorités compétentes et consommateurs, sont encouragés à participer à cet examen. Cela peut être fait par l'intermédiaire de votre organisme national de normalisation s'il dispose d'un comité miroir national participant au SC17 ou par l'intermédiaire d'une organisation de liaison liée au SC17. Votre implication peut être soit en tant qu'expert au sein du comité miroir ou de l'organisation de liaison, soit en tant que participant direct au groupe de travail (WG8) relancé de l'ISO/TC34/SC17 si vous êtes nommé par l'organisme national de normalisation (NSB) ou l'organisation de liaison. What do you value more: prevention or innovation? Think about it. It might seem that those two things are not necessarily opposite, but food law has taught us otherwsie. The food system in a country is defined by the food law that applies in there. Food law are the rules of the game. What you can do and what you cannot. And the game that is played in Europe and in the US is really different. Both sides have their own supporters. Both sides have their own detractors. I believe that it will take me a lot of text to explain the roots that sustain EFSA and the FDA, the impact of their different regulatory approaches, the different strategies that company have to follow when setting up products in these two markets... Puisque les politiques et administrations rechignent à limiter les autorisations et utilisations des pesticides, il reste la voie judiciaire. Car les réglementations et les lois prévoient que la protection de la santé et de l'environnement doivent prévaloir, elles prévoient aussi le principe de précaution et rendent obligatoire des évaluations des risques, ... dans la pratique, les autorités passent à côté. L'arrêt de la CJUE et du CE sur les #néonicotinoïdes nous l'a prouvé, la voie judiciaire est une voie d'action privilégiée pour avancer dans la bonne direction.
For the very first time, a #pesticide approval is being challenged in the European Court of Justice. We have just filed our appeal on endocrine disruptor and #beekiller cypermethrin. We ask the court to ensure the high level of protection of citizens' health and the environment enshrined in EU law. Civil society organisations were finally granted access to court for this in 2021. We took the required steps and filed a Request for Internal Review to the European Commission. When it was turned down we took the case to the General Court of the EU. In February they ruled in favor of the Commission. We now appeal this decision and refer to the recent court victory where the Court of Justice reaffirmed that citizens' health and the protection of the environment must be given priority, while most recent scientific information must be taken into account.
