𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒-2 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 5 (𝐄𝐖𝐆5): 𝐃𝐏𝐏 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (and/or joining other EWGs, the wider Stakeholder community)
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐂𝐈𝐑𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒-2? Funded by the European Commission under the Digital Europe Programme, the CIRPASS-2 project will demonstrate functioning DPP in real settings via 13 pilots in textiles, electronics, tires and construction value chains, demonstrating the DPP's potential as an enabler of the EU circular economy transition. A range of EU policies requires industry to provide DPPs, starting early 2026, including among others the 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐑) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐏𝐑). 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐖𝐆5: the EWGs connect to the expert stakeholder community, collect input for the project developments, disseminate project results, and enable a feedback loop. EWG5 will explore the needs of 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 (𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬) that might be affected by DPP-related EU policies or by other use cases of DPPs.
