Paris Packaging Week a republié ceci
Such a brilliant couple of days last week, absorbing lots of valuable insights from Paris Packaging Week. My personal highlights: - Katie Kubrak’s talk on neuro design and sustainable design, highlighting the increased cognitive load consumers are battling, and as packaging designers we need to strive for simplicity to cut through that overwhelm. - Rebecca McCowan / Fe Amarante delivered an exceptional talk on how we show up in and ultimately work with our creative teams, highlighting the impact burnout has on our creativity, and ultimately how we need to ‘be the example, not the warning’ when it comes to work/life balance and just generally leading teams with compassion & empathy (I wish lots of design agencies I know of and have worked with over the years could have heard this one!) - Marc Powell PLY covered the incredibly important topic of accessibility in packaging design and walked us through the excellent work Unilever are doing to make the supermarket environment more inclusive for blind / sight impaired consumers. Hugely inspiring and informative. Thank you to all the excellent speakers I managed to catch 🤍
From Paris, with inspiration 💡 Last week, Ali, Grace, and Sarah set-off on a team voyage to this year's Paris Packaging Week, where they explored the latest trends emerging in packaging design, sustainability and innovation. From inspiring conversations to game-changing developments, it was great to hear from a whole host of brands and suppliers – and to connect with some familiar and new faces!
