Given that it’s been in development for a very long time, Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 is a suitably massive game. So it only makes sense that the game’s guns would have a lot going on as well. The developer has released some new details and screenshots showcasing its weapons in action, especially with the revamped Dead-Eye system.

Some of these weapons include the Cattleman Revolver, which is used as much by cattlemen and ranchers as much as lawmen. it has a capacity of six rounds, and Rockstar describes it as having a good balance of damage, accuracy, and fire rate. There’s also the Carbine Repeater, which has a quick reload speed, and a “solid” firing rate. The Bolt-Action Rifle is described by Rockstar as “strong and versatile”, is suited to long range combat against “multiple targets”, and comes with a capacity of five rounds. Then there’s the Pump-Action Shotgun, a high powered weapon useful for close range combat.

Along with finding different weapons, players can also customize them in various ways with new barrels, sights, scopes, grips, metals, woods, varnishes, and so on. Different ammo can also be loaded for different situations. All in all, if you want the perfect firearm to survive in the lawless frontier, then Red Dead Redemption 2 will have something for you. It arrives on October 26th for Xbox One and PS4.
