The #GROWING project is deeply committed to empowering women within the #GrowingFutureClubs #VSLAs by equipping them with financial tools that enable them to take control of their finances, invest in their businesses, and support their families, driving significant economic growth at the grassroots level.

#GROWING Project is empowering rural women and families in Northern Ghana with Nutrition Goal Cards! These simple, visual guides are transforming meal planning by making it easy to balance diets using local ingredients, #amaranth, #OFSPleaves #moringa #groundnut #soybeans and other nutritious foods. With these cards, women are better equipped to nourish their families and improve health outcomes.

Exciting news as the #GROWINGProject has distributed 12 tricycles to traders (9 women and 3 men) from the Northern, Northeast, and Savannah regions. Empowering these traders will improve market access for the #GROWING beneficiaries to produce and market nutritious crops. The traders were selected through a participatory process and trained on market linkages, postharvest management, and proper tricycle operations. Our #GFC women, supported by the #GROWING project, are now planting orange-fleshed sweetpotato #OFSP and Suyolo sweetpotato vines on their farms. These resilient and nutritious varieties are making a significant impact, boosting yields and enhancing nutrition across communities in Northern Ghana. #SustainableAgriculture #growingfood #growingtogether #nutrition

The #GROWING project is empowering 2,187 women across 72 #GrowingFutureClubs communities in Northern Ghana by distributing Orange-Fleshed Sweetpotato #OFSP vine cuttings for farming. #GFCs have been trained on best #CSA practices for planting & caring for sweetpotato vines, soil preparation, planting techniques, and pest management. Sweetpotatoes, known for their nutritional value and resilience, are an ideal crop for diverse climates and soil conditions. By equipping local farmers with these vines, we are empowering them to cultivate a plentiful harvest, which will provide both sustenance and income for their families. #growingfood #growing #growingtogether #nutrition
