📢 Bernitsas Law acted as Greek law counsel to the Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners in connection with the issuance and offering by Metlen Energy & Metals SA (Metlen) of its new €750m, 4% Green Senior Notes due 2029 (Notes) to international and domestic institutional investors through a bookbuilding process, and the listing of the Notes on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. 🎉 Congratulations to Nikos Papachristopoulos, FOTODOTIS MALAMAS, Alexia Kefalogianni and Elena Stazilova, for advising on this transaction. 👉 Metlen intends to use the proceeds from the offering of the Notes primarily to redeem in full Mytilineos Financial Partners SA’ s €500m Senior Notes due 2024, while an amount equivalent to the net proceeds from the offering of the Notes will be used to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, Eligible Green Projects in accordance with the Metlen’s Green Finance Framework.  #BernitsasLaw #Metlen #sustainability
