🫶🏻 EUCOTTON is all about nurturing the next generation of #fashion talent! We’ve been hosting a series of workshops that showcase the rich history of European cotton production, highlighting its #sustainability and #quality to fashion students in Greece, Spain, Germany, France, and Italy. 🎯Our latest stop was in Italy, where we teamed up with NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti on October 24th and 28th for two engaging workshops. 📍We were thrilled to have representatives from renowned #textile brands like Canclini and Berto Denim join us.   💡Under the mentorship of Professor Claudia Nesi, a group of students is already working on creating six outfits inspired by European cotton! 💯These outfits will be showcased at a special event in Milan on December 4th, where major #brands will also unveil capsule collections made entirely from 100% European cotton. 🙏🏻Huge thanks to NABA for collaborating with us and to our partners Candiani SpA , Canclini1925, MIC spa - Manifattura Italiana Cucirini & BERTO Industria Tessile | Sustainable Denim Fabrics for providing their top-notch fabrics for the students! 📌Special thanks to Laura Pianazza & Panos Sofianos for their valuable contribution! #eucotton #workshop #naba #italy #fashion #sustainability #quality

👉🏻 A #delegation of professionals from the #cotton & #fashion sectors had the opportunity to approach the reality of #Andalusian cotton in the framework of EUCOTTON , the European initiative that unites the cotton sectors of Greece and Spain. 🌱 Visits were conducted at the fields and facilities of two prominent benchmarks within the #Andalusian cotton industry: #Algosur (Algodonera del Sur) located in the province of #Seville, and the Las Lomas Agricultural Complex in #Cadiz, which is home to the oldest operational ginning mill in #Spain. 🌎 Cotton provides quality #employment for more than 5,500 families in Andalusia, as well as a significant number of skilled #workers in the ginning mills that process the raw material.
