IDE participated in the 𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗘 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿-𝗔𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 (CAMAD) Conference, held in Athens between 21-23/10. Ilias Christofilos, Master Systems Engineer of IDE, presented a paper related to the ACROSS-AIR project, titled “𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟱𝗚-𝗡𝗧𝗡 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁”, which has already been noticed by experts in the area of 5G/6G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) standardization, with respect to its insights on the communication challenges for the Rotary Wing Aircraft. #CAMADConference #ACROSSAIRproject Find an arxiv version of the paper, including a brief summary in the link bellow : https://lnkd.in/d9NmBdDK Read more: https://lnkd.in/ddZdK9mV

🌐 IDE participated in the “AUSA 2024” International Annual Meeting & Exposition, held in Washington DC, USA, between October 14-16, as a member of the Hellenic Pavilion, which was organised by the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce under the auspices of the Hellenic MoD. The presence of IDE in the AUSA was complemented with the establishment of 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗨𝗦, focusing on IDE’s activities and interests in the US market. ✅In the frame of the Hellenic Participation in AUSA 2024 International Defense Exposition, the Greek Embassy in Washington hosted on 15th of October the GREEK DEFENSE INDUSTRY DAY Event, co-organized with the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce. IDE Had the honor to be there!

🤝 IDE, as a member of the Greek Participation in AUSA 2024, attended the Inauguration - Ribbon Cutting ceremony of the Hellenic Pavilion, which was held in the morning of the 1st day of the Exhibition, with a large participation of military officials and representatives of foreign and Greek defense companies. The Hellenic Pavilion at AUSA 2024 is organized by the American- Hellenic Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) with the assistance of the General Directorate of Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA), under the auspices of the Hellenic MoD and the full support of Enterprise Greece, aiming at strengthening the extroversion of the Greek Defense Industry. The event was honored by the presence of the Ambassador of Greece in Washington, Mrs. Ekaterini Nassika, the General Director of GDDIA, Major General Ioannis Bouras, Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis, Deputy Chief of Staff, HNDGS, Col. 🌍 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗠 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗘 participated, as the only Greek entity, in the 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 (𝗙𝗣𝗗), between 1-3/10 at the ECSAT facilities of the European Space Agency (ESA), Harwell, UK. IDE as the Project’s Prime Contractor presented the results of the ACROSS-AIR project’s activities which attracted great interest, especially with respect to the upcoming standards for the 5G/6G-NTN (Non-Terrestrial Networks) technologies. The event organized with the support of ARPA as Project Coordinator, took place on September 11-12, 2024, in Athens. The consortium partners from 7 EU-member states (Spain, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Slovenia) and Norway, along with associated MoD representatives, participated in this meeting, while IDE's technical team contributed significantly to its successful execution, demonstrating the work performed, especially for the NOMAD system architecture and engaging in useful discussions with the consortium partners and MoD representatives. 👉More: https://lnkd.in/g3YaBg4i

🤝 IDE participated in the 4TH ALL PARTNERS EVENT of “INDY” EDF 2021 Project, organised by Rheinmetall and TECES at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich in Germany, on 3-5/9/2024.
