What a weekend it has been for our Associates Georgia Patsoudi and Iliana Moussa, attending Legalink Global Network of Independent Law Firms's Academy for Young Lawyers from 5-8 September in Paris. The Academy connected delegates from 18 different law firms globally and featured a series of interactive sessions targeted at armoring young lawyers with practical skills useful for the legal profession. Relationships were of course strengthened over some French wine and Bersay's office views overlooking the Arc de Triomphe. Special thanks to founder of host Firm BERSAY, Jérôme Bersay, for sharing his tips on a successful business development journey, Christopher Trowbridge, Legalink's Chairman and Partner at Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP for moderating and delving into how to achieve a better team management system, Florian Polak of Tucan.ai for his input on the operation of inter-law firm AI models and Olivier Cebrian General Secretary of BERSAY for his educative talk on the need of enhancing CSR in law firms. Our Firm is currently retained to assist the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF / ΤΑΙΠΕΔ) with the privatization of the "Sani Kassandra" property in Halkidiki. In this context, our team with extensive experience in real estate property investments, provides expert advice to the Greek State. The HRADF entered into a contract valued at € 8.6 million with Sani Development and Tourism Company S.A. for the development of the property. Our Firm was represented during the signing of the contract, by senior partner Vassilis Moussas and senior associate Eirini Kontrafouri who played a pivotal role in the project. Looking ahead, we anticipate continued success in investments with a strong social and environmental footprint, unlocking the potential of real estate assets and driving Greece’s economic revitalization forward. Special mention to our junior associate Olga Kepesidou and trainees Eirini Manioti and Sotiria Dimitropoulou for their devotion throughout this project. 

On June 26, the American - Hellenic Chamber of Commerce organized the 2nd "Rule of Law 2024 Conference – Pillar of Development and Prosperity," held under the auspices of H.E. The President of the Hellenic Republic. The primary goal of the conference was to foster a productive dialogue among the local legal community, regarding the factors that could enhance the efficiency of the Greek Judicial System and the overall functionality of Justice in the country. The organizing Legislative Reforms Committee of which our Firm’s Managing Partner Nicholas Moussas is a member, hosted in the Conference the session “International Arbitration, Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods”. During this session, Nicholas Moussas shared with the audience his insights on issues related to the current mediation framework and proposed pragmatic solutions, under his role as a litigator. He participated in a dynamic panel alongside Charalambos Macheras, Justice of the Hellenic Supreme Court ad h., Vicky Kriketou, Partner, Kyriakides Georgopoulos Law Firm and Claire Sergaki, Senior Associate, Dryllerakis & Associates. Dimitrios Tsikrikas, Professor at the Law School of the University of Athens, moderated the panel, which discussed out-of-court resolution methods (ADR) for private disputes, examining current dynamics and legislative initiatives.
