🩸 A Gesture of Care 🩸 A life-giving gesture took place on Friday 6 December as Orphee Beinoglou S.A., a member of OB Streem, transformed its Elefsina office into a hub of generosity by hosting a voluntary blood donation event. Since the inception of the Orphee Beinoglou Blood Bank, countless colleagues and their loved ones have received vital support thanks to the selfless contributions of our blood donors. Initiatives like this are deeply rooted in OB Streem's philosophy, where people are (at) the heart of everything we do. And hearts, as we all know, are notorious for needing blood to keep pumping. So, we keep giving. ❤️ Donating blood just twice per year is a small act with a big impact and we’re proud to see both familiar faces and new colleagues join this effort. 🌟 OB Streem Supports Youth Sports! 🌟 As part of our CSR program, #StreemForGood, we proudly sponsored the local student championships in Aspropyrgos and Elefsina, which brought together 850 young athletes aged 7-12 from 19 clubs and academies for ⚽football, 🏀basketball and 🏐volleyball tournaments. Over 200 matches were played across four weekends in November and December, promoting fair play, teamwork and healthy competition – values that help build confident and responsible individuals. On Sunday 1/12, the finals of the volleyball and basketball games took place, the latter in the presence of the Mayor of Aspropyrgos, Mr Ioannis Elias. Last Saturday, the football final brought the tournament to an exciting conclusion. At the awards ceremony, the prizes were presented by Mr Dimitris Kalligeris, Supply Chain Greece Senior VP of OB Streem. OB Streem is thrilled to announce that it will continue to sponsor the Greek Economics Olympiad in 2025! In 2024, the Greek Economics Olympiad thrived, with the Greek team of talented students winning the silver medal at the International Finals of the Economics Olympiad held in Ancient Olympia. Emmanuel Karalis, the popular Greek pole vaulter who won the bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, was the inspiring ambassador of the motivational Greek campaign. His constant presence and encouragement through social media helped Greek students aim high and achieve their goals, while inspiring an impressive increase in 2025 registrations. Within the first 15 days, 200 schools (students with the help of their professors) signed up, reaching an impressive 39% of new registrations. 1 out of 8 schools in Greece have already signed up and this is just the beginning. For the year 2025, the Greek Economic Olympiad is preparing a big and exciting surprise!
