OCEANMAN Greece

OCEANMAN is the world's largest Open Water Swimming event, attracting the interest of swimmers at every location where it takes place. OCEANMAN Greece was launched in Greece by Armandos Linardos, a swimmer with a special love for the Sea, with a vision of Sports Experience Tourism, in Oitylo, East Mani, Peloponnese, in 2016. This race became an established event that attracted the interest of many athletes from dozens of countries from all continents of the world, culminating in 2019, a year in which the number of participants reached 1,000. The health crisis of the globe and the war in Europe stopped the development, but without preventing I.Q. Sports, through which Armandos Linardos sought the further development of the institution, to successfully organize the OCEANMAN World Finals in Rethymno, Crete, at the end of 2022. OCEANMAN Greece, after a pause in 2023, returns with a vengeance, opening a new page from TRIMORE Sport Events, aspiring to climb among the most beautiful, highest quality, safest and most innovative events in the world. OCEANMAN Greece | Chania - Crete 2024, in June 2024 (21-23), capitalizing on one of the most uniquely beautiful tourist destinations in the world, seeks to write a unique and unrepeatable history. In 2025 the location of Vouliagmeni was chosen as the one that will host the 7th OCEANMAN Vouliagmeni | Greece and from now on it will amaze every Open Water swimmer. The vision of TRIMORE Sport Events and Constantinos Mitropapas, the Race Director, is to establish the Hellenic (Greek) event in every Open Water Swimmer's calendar in the world and to promote the race as a bench mark Open Water Swimming.
