🍊 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟𝟰𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 – 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟭 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣 🍊 The #EXCEL4MED Annual Meeting in Montpellier 🇫🇷 brought together partners from Greece, Malta and France to assess progress, share insights and strengthen collaboration for a more sustainable and innovative Mediterranean fruit supply chain.    The first day, hosted by CIHEAM-IAMM, was packed with discussions, presentations and strategic planning sessions (plus tons of coffee ☕️, pain au chocolat 🍫, croissants 🥐 and laughter 😁)! Here is what happened:    🔸 Morning sessions | Setting the stage  After a warm welcome and introduction by CIHEAM-IAMM, the meeting launched into a deep dive into the project's progress. Each Work Package leader shared key milestones and future directions. 🔸 Afternoon sessions | Showcasing deliverables  The second half of the day focused on recently completed deliverables, highlighting major research findings and practical applications: 📄 Deliverable D1.5 Data Management Plan III (National & Kapodistrian University of Athens).  📄 Deliverable D2.3 Co-Creation Workshop with Relevant Stakeholders to Fill in the Business Model Canvas (Smart Agro Hub). 📄 Deliverable D2.4 Living Labs Report on the Effectiveness of Current Business Models, Governance and Innovation (Malta Enterprise, CIHEAM-IAMM). 🔸 Q&A session – An interactive discussion where partners exchanged perspectives and tackled key project questions. 🔸 Wrapping up & looking ahead – The day concluded with closing remarks, reflecting on progress made and setting the stage for deeper discussions on Day 2. Smart Agro Hub is pleased to share its participation in the online Kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ Project #FarmForward - Sustainable and Transformative Strategies for Climate-Resilient Agriculture in VET. Smart Agro Hub was represented by Christina Simou. Spanning 30 months, #FarmForward aims to empower the agricultural community, particularly agricultural educators and future/existing farmers, to actively engage in climate-resilient farming practices. It will offer new methodologies and insights to the agricultural sector, enhancing knowledge and skills in climate-resilient practices. Thus, it will contribute to the global dialogue on sustainable agriculture and climate resilience. #FarmForward will: · Raise awareness of challenges of agriculture stakeholders, in particular farmers who are facing the increasingly evident impacts of climate change. · Enhance the capabilities of agricultural trainers, empowering them to educate about climate change and resilience agricultural strategies. · Motivate agriculture professionals and stakeholders to seek innovative solutions and adopt efficient farming practices for climate change mitigation.
